The old Southampton one looks a bit tacky. More fitting for a leisure centre than a university. I prefer the new, plain one.

I can't believe they actually went through with it! There was even a facbook group with 1400 members against it and considering the size of the Uni that's quite a lot. I just hate to think of how much money was spent doing this for a damn triangle?!

When liverpool changed theirs last year there were all sorts of petitions against it, even though the new one looked a million times better. I think some people just like to whinge.
 
I quite like the new BU logo. There are variations on the U which are used in different parts of the campus.

I think the biggest upset as far as the student body goes is that it took £120k out of the budget!

True. I think the 'logo' is fine, the website is just not so good. Notts I find quite pleasant and easy to navigate.

I can't stand the new logo. I have a particular aversion to the new website - it drowns itself in all the blue and looks thoroughly uninteresting.
 
My girlfriend is at Soton uni... I think soton's new "crest" thing looks horrible, tacky and unprofessional. The kind of thing my middle school had on their jumpers. Dolphin logo is/was much better than what they've got now!
