She's just being an arrogant ***** or trying to make a quick buck at some poor bus drivers expense. Probably making him bankrupt and tearing his family apart.

If this were true, I'd know a lot of bankrupts with broken families, believe me.

the woman that *was* at the cash point ran back to her car when she saw the bus pull out. if she is sue'ing i assume its because she was nearly hit by the collapsing bus shelter. + "the damages to her mental state because of the accident!"

But anyway, what kind of muppet slams on the accelerator instead of the brake? He was pulling out so obviously pressing the accelerator to start with, why would you then press the same pedal even further down?

Buses are often Autos...so let off the brake and it'll move forward like it does to start off with. Maybe the driver thought they foot was over the brake and slammed the accelerator instead. Not impossible to do.

Driver panics, foot gets confused and then stamps on the wrong pedal.
