On a more serious note, obviously well up for this.

Evo reckons that Exmoor is supposed to be great - roads are as good as Dartmoor only without:

a) Tourists
b) Blanket 40mph speed limit

Bodmin Moor is similar.

Exmoor is a fantastic drive. I had one of the best and most memorable drives in the Scooby across Exmoor.

Considering I will be driving 250 Miles (minimum) one way (and that's only the distance/drive I know to Barnstaple), An extra 30-40-50 miles means nothing.

Would ideally like to keep it under 350 Miles each way, as that way I can do it in two tanks! woo!

I think Exmoor could be a great idea, as we can all still meet up at Exeter Services like we did last year then head on up there.

The roads across Moorland are fantastic.

Erm, South I think but it's literally right at the Exeter junction of the M5.

Since a lot of us seem to be coming from the North/East it wouldn't make much sense to meet at the Exeter services if the destination is Exmoor. It means we have to head south, then backtrack north again. Somewhere closer to the venue would make much more sense.

If it was exmoor, how about taunton deane services? If you're coming from up north you'll probably use the M5, then from there, get off at J27 and follow the A361 to South Molton, then up to exmoor
Or even the Little Chef AT J27
