My only reservation is that it looks a bit too "gung-ho" and not claustrophobic enough. In fact it doesn't look "grown-up" enough if that makes sense.
I was hoping for a quite a tense, claustrophobic , 'Aliens' type affair, but it all looks a bit too Serious Sam.
Unless we are just being shown the action/large hallway bits in trailers for the spectacle. I want to see some pacing slowly in a tight corridor with no idea where the enemy is going to attack from.
im not familer with the lore and stuff to know much, but it looks good, i did enjoy space marine co op a lot, hopefully it has some of that meaty weighty feel that did, loved the heavy bolter? one where you couldnt walk and fire, but turn most things into a red mist
With only one month left until release, the whole team is working non-stop to add the final layer of polish to our game and deliver the best possible experience to players. We now needs your support: Steam pre-order players are invited to join our upcoming Beta tests.
Starting next week, we will invite a limited number of pre-order players to join a closed-beta to help us gather the latest technical and gameplay feedback for the game.
Starting around November 20, ALL players who have pre-ordered Space Hulk: Deathwing on Steam will be able to get their first taste through a new beta.
You'll be able to experience the game's tutorial to learn the basics, before teaming up to complete a mission from the game's campaign with up to 3 other players in co-op! These betas will be the perfect opportunity for us to gather the latest feedback from players, in order to offer the best possible gaming experience at launch.
I am very very interested in this but I am still very reluctant to pre-order it. Hopefully there will be a lot of reviews and information from people in the beta.
