Space Hulk: Deathwing

I should say that I entirely disagree with the process of preordering games. I'm just a complete 40k nerd so I am picking it up with some cash in my steam wallet to save a fiver (can't spend steam wallet gifts on key sites) and because I'm fairly sure this is going to be good. I'm certainly not saying anyone else should preorder it. Except for the guys who I want to play it with. They have to preorder so I have people to play coop with.

I'm cautiously optimistic, not pre-ordering but it's from the guys behind styx and E.Y.E which were both good games. Really hope they pull it off as it looks like it could be bags of fun especially in co-op.

Why would anyone pre-order a game like this? They've shown no actual in game gameplay and there have been no reviews or anything.

After getting ****ed by Aliens Colonial Marines, I have had an ultra-strict no pre-order rule, but...

I have to say I am mighty tempted right now

This is cool, I thought Styx was underrated, tbh.

Yup I can verify this gimp made me pre-order. Otherwise I was more than happy waiting for reviews.

Everyone moaning about preorders, you get a discount, bonus content and you can refund it should it be *****.

Within fourteen days of purchase, and with less than 2 hours play time*

I don't think it's 'moaning' to not see the sense in paying money for a product you haven't even seen, it's the more money than sense attitude which is the reason modern DLC, paid betas and pre-orders exist today. Not that I'm saying that applies to you, though... ;)

"I am wrath, I am steel, I am the mercy of Angels"

To be honest they had me when I read that on the power sword in the trailer. The thing about 40k is the look and the feel of that universe, and they seem to have got it right. Co-op Terminators purge with bolter and flame, what's not to like?

DOW 3 trailer also made me tent.

Pay, get the discount and content then you can watch what you want after release knowing you have your copy installed. Although I have extremely good internet and can install most games in under 30 minutes some people don't and the preloading means a great deal.

If it turns out to be crap refund it, if not you are good to go. You then get two hours to decide if you enjoy it.

New trailer out showcasing the different weapons. So far, so good! I like that it involves mowing down waves of enemies. That's always satisfying.

Games Workshop games are so hit and miss, but I'll be damned if I'm not pinning my hopes on this game.
Not enough to pre-purchase it though. :p

This is only £22.99 on GMG at the moment. Anyone else pre-ordered it/found it cheaper elsewhere?

Quite tempted to give it a whirl at that price.
