Space Marine demo on steam

Just finished the demo, actually very impressed, i loved the warhammer mmo, and although not geeky enough to appreciate any of the table top stuff, i love the artwork etc, was very fun seing squigs coming at me. I miss my squig herder.

That's hilarious, you're not even a moderator of this sub forum and think your word should go over rjkoneill's who is actually a mod of it? If he gave a verbal warning, what's your right to threaten to suspend me via PM for something completely unrelated: "Reason: Spammed Advertisements".

Talk about a power trip, huh?


Oh lets wait now for Huddy to throw his toys out of the pram and give me a 1 month suspension now.

yes I am a registered moderator of this sub forum and yes Admiral Huddy is not.

all this means is that RTMs go to me, I am not a registered mod on the Motors section but I still moderate it.

however he is still a moderator on these forums and should be respected as such.
AH is not a 'shop moderator' and gives his time freely as do the rest of the moderator team. please remember that.

if you are warned about your conduct by a moderator, take it on the chin and accept it.

this kind of conduct is totally unacceptable.

I am giving you an appropriate suspension, please learn from this and do not let it happen again.

Other people liking the game a lot then? I only managed to download it last night and haven't played it yet but i am concerned that this is not my usual type of game (mindless hack and slash)

Is there any depth to this do you think? Or will it just be a fun 20 minutes followed by a few hours of more of the same?
 
I'm not one for single player games but I hope the multiplayer in this keeps me coming back. I've been burned before, transformers was unable to hold my attention. I was a little disappointed there were not more combos or killing moves, I like the one where the space marine runs up ontop of a big enemy's shoulders and dispatches him from behind; its in DoW I believe.

There are 3 multiplayer classes but I heard the jetpack class is the one to go for. Hopefully there are a few different game modes in the multiplayer. Also there is co-op.
 
Played the demo.. Its the kind of game thats fun to watch being played by someone
good.

Mind you i just bought a 360 pad to use and im sucking so hard spending most of my time staring at the sky or fumbling with buttons and odd shoulder triggers! :O

might just go back to keys
 
Played the demo last night, couldn't do the last man (ork) on the first level, loving the blood, multiplayer should be carnage :)

Multiplayer Titan wars with 6 players to a Titan controlling weapons movement etc, endless possibilities...
 
Every time i play this game i love it more and more, very worthwile and looking foreword to mp too, getting to grips with the moves and battling amongst such large hoards is hella fun!
