Spamtastic - Who do you get the most junk mail from?

Does anyone ever get 'spam' from schools?

I used to get spam that seem to be addressed to a parent. I did try to contact the school to remove my email address but they never replied. I find it odd that they can stumble on my email address.

This latest one I got is another school, and the phone number looks authentic. I won't post confidential information. But here is the main bulk;

Dear Mrs White,

Unfortunately Tom has been excluded for a minimum of 5 days pending further investigation as he has twice today shown deliberate dangerous behaviour.

As a result of dangerous behaviour P5 today in Science a student has had to go to A+E.

Should help with browsing but it's not going to do jack for all the computers that have our private information such as ISP's, Banks and the NHS that all seem to be on a mission to share our data with 3rd parties.
 
Getting a lot of Currys spam at the moment, i made the mistake of clicking a clearance link and then got an email when i closed the webpage saying "you left, this is what you're missing".

Is that spam or harassment. :D

spam from HMRC ?

I had updated email address, the html version of the email had a tracked web addresses

I have started seeing an increase of spam with no from address. Looking at the headers I know exactly where it's coming from so I've reported the server and domain.

Around 25 per day fail DMARC going directly in spam.

Got them all blocked in hotmail, but they still come through :rolleyes:
 
I used to get waves of it when I had Virgin Media, I get a fraction of what I used to get now. Screwfix and Ashley brown are two I need to follow the unsubscribe link
