Spanish Football 2011-2012

This is great. I was watching the end of the Barca game and when they scored their 5th Alves and Thiago were doing some stupid dance and Puyol came over and stopped them and dragged them back towards the half-way line. Fantastic stuff and quite right, they look utterly ridiculous doing that after the week and a half Barca have just had.

HAHAH that is awesome. How dumb is it to celebrate like that when 5-0 up and just been knocked out of the CL and lost the title to RM.

Heres the video.

even better was the comment from the commentator on sky about the celebration, which i'm sure i misheard, but it went something like:

"puyols a farmer and drives a tractor, he knows you don't do that sort of thing, these guys are brazillian so you expect it off them." :D

So much for Barcelona being tired then...

Also lol at the celebration Pedro seemed to be enjoying it as well, they're obviously not too disappointed about losing two titles and a manager in the space of a week.

RM need a point from their last 3 matches; if they lose then theoretically Barca are still in the hunt as they have the betterr H2H record.

Errm, if Real win, they win it, they are 7 points clear with 3 games left, if they win it its all over. If they draw and Barca win, it goes to the next game, if Barca don't win, it doesn't matter what Real do.

Not quite sure what happens if Barca draw and Real lose and the gap becomes 6 points with 2 games left... head to head its one win each, does it go straight to GD after that or do Barca win because they won 3-1, while Real only won the other game 2-1.

Meh, can't see it happening, though it might not happen tonight as Bilbao certainly aren't bad.

Either way, Vela got another goal tonight, I think thats 12 goals and 7 assists in his comeback season(spent a few months gaining form, fitness, confidence) at a not very good club, he's freaking awesome. Fully deserves first team and can't see him at Arsenal next year, he can't afford another lost season being on the bench for no reason and Wenger is unlikely to play him over other options, shame :(

Yeah, wasn't sure if it was just win/draw/lose that counted or the actual scoreline in the head to head. Barca started off with an early goal but 1-1 now, only just realised the Barca game will be over before the Real game kicks off, so it could be over before that game kicks off then.

If they've already won I wonder if we'll see the foot off the gas, or the pressure off and a showboating full game with a crapload of goals...... should be entertaining either way with Bilbao if they play crazy all out attack again.

Especially that a team can have a player that scores 68 goals in a season...yet wins nothing.

Big game bottler tbh

Messi must be getting bored of scoring. Wouldn't he want a challenge in another league?

Dont think any team on the planet could afford him, he has a stupidly high buy out price. Something like 250mill euros from what i heard:eek:.

Perhaps later on he will move on to another team but at the moment hes Barca through and through.

Shame that Pep is leaving though, i wonder how Barca will cope with his loss. Perhaps Barca will try and prise Mourinho from Real, that would be epic if he did manage Barca:p
