I just don't like Hamiltons attitude, I think he is too quick to blame anybody and everybody else for problems and never looks at himself as being the cause. Alonso was like that when he switched from Renault to McLaren but he mellowed somewhere along the line and he is now a better driver, in my view , for it.

This being the same Vettel who has destroyed the rest of the field over the last couple of years on more than 1 occasion? The same Vettel who has continued to win races when things like KERS has failed which put him at a SIGNIFICANT disadvantage around the track to cars which do?

However, I tend to refrain from posting in F1 threads generally any more as I got sick to the back teeth of all the Hamilton humping going on. If you don't like him, 95% of regular posters jump to his defence and you basically get shouted down, it's a shame. You're not allowed to have a differing opinion on here when it comes to him or you "know nothing" :/

But can you argue with the fact that he is in a lesser car and has A) won a race and B) hounded Vettle at the last race?

It's nothing to do with not being allowed a differing opinion.

You're more than welcome to say that you don't like Hamilton.

However, to say that he is not a good driver is ****ing into the wind of fact.

You said you don't think he is as good as Alonso or Vettel and that you put him on a par with Button,Kubica,Rosberg and Webber.

Unfortunately, the facts make your view wrong.

Saying you don't like Hamilton is an opinion and you are ofcourse entitled to think that.

Saying that he is not as good a driver as Alonso and Vettel and only as good as Button,Webber e.t.c. is just wrong.

Technically, even that is an opinion. An opinion can't actually be wrong unless it is conclusively proved beyond doubt. And rating drivers, is almost always a matter of opinion (unless they drive the same equipment, like Webber vs Vettel or Button vs Hamilton or Massa vs Alonso).

The facts though, (as stated earlier in thread), would suggest that Hamilton is a step ahead of Button and a couple of steps ahead of Webber.

Honestly, if you stated that Alonso isn't good enough to win any more titles you would get just as long a list of people telling you how ridiculous your opinion is.

Its my opinion FFS, your entitle to yours I'm entitled to mine, just get over the fact that some people don't rate him as highly as the flag waving t-shirt wearing fan club which seems to exist here do...and the FACTS as you put it can be interpreted in a number of ways, as they are statistics, depending on which season you look at or as a whole as he has finished behind or around various other drivers...
