How are these Pirelli tires making the racing better? They are all just holding station managing tires...excellent stuff :rolleyes:

Did Vernes toro rosso have mismatched tyres?

Looked like he had a silver one on the left rear and yellows on the rest?

Not surprised, webber kept locking those tyres up from the first lap and kept doing it. Also stuck behind massa it might be a great move.

Anyone else think it's backwards that the harder tyre is quicker than the soft?

Surely it's the exact opposite of the intention?

I guess it's because its faster over a longer period, rather than faster in terms of quickest possible lap times

I was thinking specifically with Perez setting a fastest lap but I appreciate there's less fuel, clean air etc.

May have been a few bits picked up by Hulkenberg going off the track. Or may have been a few bits of the strakes off the diffuser.

This is great stuff from Hamilton. He's fought through the field and kept his tyres intact enough to be setting good times.
