He hasn't at all. They have both failed 4 out of 4 starts. It's just ros has got away better and got away with it a couple of times. However the rest of the grid has been getting away far faster.

Getting better starts than Hamilton doesn't mean he's been getting great starts, he's lost the lead a couple of times iirc and at the very least been under pressure at other starts.

You seem to have forgotten that Rosberg and Hamilton have only started alongside each other twice this season due to Hamilton's engine problems. Lewis actually made the best start of any car in China but then was hit which masked everything.

Lewis actually made the best start of any car in China but then was hit which masked everything.

Hardly surprising. He's in the fastest car, and starting at the back meant he accelerated through a far longer rubbered section of track than he would normally do starting near the front.

Great lap from Hamilton today though. Can't wait for RBR to get an engine upgrade and for it to work - the second half of the season could be fantastic competition.

It takes four full days (that’s 96 hours!) of labour to completely sand, prime and paint a single MP4-31 chassis. Our paintshop technicians use three litres of primer, two litres of graphite base coat, one litre of Rocket Red, 50 ml of airbrushed metallic black on each car. The finish is then coated with three litres of gloss lacquer to give it the requisite lustre in front of the cameras.

Surprised it's not some Ronism like homogeneous synthetic deep midnight charcoal
