Gasly radio - That was a very good lap, really happy. The car feels go so... Try again?

Pit radio - Yeah, same again mate. Ok, so now we follow the plan. Follow the plan.

Kvyat radio - The outlap didn't help, but that was everything I had.

Pit - Yeah, was not bad after the previous sessions. Can have a good race from there.

Kvyat - Yeah

There is something strange going on.

I really think that any changes/development will be made towards giving LeClerc a faster car as he's the long term guy. I.e. if he says he something isn't working with his driving style it will be made regardless of whether it will help Vettel or not. Which is probably a similar situation for Redbull with Max and Alex too. The RB number 2 seat has been cannon fodder forever...

Real gulf there between the top 5 with an extra set of new tyres, and the bottom half having to do their first run on used tyres.

Albon 7 tenths behind max, get rid of him.

He's lucky that the McLarens and Ferraris are so weak here, only the RPs had the pace to slot into that gap so he's flattered with only being 3 places behind his teammate. Meanwhile the guy he replaced to get that seat is driving the socks off that Alpha Tauri weekend after weekend.

Leclerc radio - Too much understeer. We've got this understeer we can't get rid of. Gaah. With the new tyres it's just worse than with the old tyres. The balance is understeering like crazy.

Ricciardo was something like less than 2 tenths slower than Max on average in qualifying before he left. Not sure how much slower on average Webber was on Vettel, either way Albon is miles off still. I'm sure in a Mercedes team they'd both be closer to each other, as would Vettel and Leclerc, it's when the cars aren't great that it shows the difference in teammates. Wasn't it always said that feedback from Schumacher wasn't as useful as some of his teammates, due to him being able to drive around any issues in the car. A bit like Alonso and Max.
