Driver of the day for meBlinkered view, yea ok. Do you mean like all the blind Lulu fans on here. And who said I’m a Max fan? I’m far from it I can assure you.
Clown Hamilton is a fraud and I Keep telling everyone and no one here can see it, thankfully GR is providing all the evidence to support my claims.
Bottas showing the naysayers that he indeed isn't as crap as they make out.
Bottas handle the pressure? In a car that was for the most of his participation way ahead of the field, he still couldn't regularly secure top 2 finish. He seems more than capable in a midfield car where his team mate is new / not as good and there isn't much expectation, but you would not want him as a number 2 driver in a competitive field. Sainz, for now, needs to stop trying to compete with Lecler... Just be happy to be ahead of the redbulls and bring it home.Honestly would like Ferrari to swap Sainz for Valterri, as they need someone who is not only fast, but is both consistent and can handle the pressure. Carlos has been all over the place.

Did anyone else quite enjoy the racing sans Max's DRS with George? Loved seeing the toys come flying during that part of the race.

Yeh that fight was great. Russell's defending was really impressive.

Let's face it, every single driver on the grid would be annoyed and complain in that situation. If it was broken then you can just forget about it and get on with racing, but not knowing if it's going to work or not would frustrate everyone. Though it was fun to watch and I would actually prefer a random DRS allocation as the cars go through the detection zone. Say 1/3 of the field would get a DRS each lap. They could try it in Sprint race to spice it up.
Yeah, 'cause the sport absolutely needs gimmicky crap like that
Yeah. Now that the cars can follow more easily there's really no need for DRS. Because at the moment, you just need to get within 1sec of someone and the pass is yours. Who knows, maybe the FIA were watching Russell/Verstappen and might figure out that no DRS would provide much more interesting racing. My issue, and I think most peoples too, with DRS is that it's the main form of overtaking. Why risk going for a move in to a corner when you can breeze past down the DRS straight. When DRS was brought in, it was supposed to negate the time lost of following a car and help them get in to a position to try and overtake. Basically the Max and Russell battle. Watching a car sail passed and be a couple of car lengths clear by the braking zone gives the defending car no chance and is boring.

Yeah, I didn't quite understand why the commentators made such a big deal of it, I thought it was fairly standard defending? Make the other person go all the way around the long way, or too tight to the corner to hold speed coming out. I was more impressed that Max almost managed a dive inside that one time, but then to GR's credit, he did great to get back in front.I'm not sure Russell did anything special here. Its a track known to be difficult to overtake on, and one car didn't have a properly functioning DRS. IMO he kind of did as would be expect, unlike say Bottas at Merc who often did less than expected when it came to keeping drivers behind him.
I think he's now gone back on that, and accepts responsibility. Said it was the heat of the moment etc.Lol at KMag blaming Lewis for first lap incident
