Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Tombstone, if you see someone who says that, RTM.

The mod team will deal with it, repeat offenders will be punished.

But to get this back on track, I'm very much looking forward to the new series.

I wasn't really sure when I started watching the first season, it was something I was "meh, not sure if this will be my thing" but, I've got to admit - it was fantastic!

I was the same, I think mainly because they really overdid the 300 type effects in the first episode. Thankfully though they toned that down a bit afterwards and I came to really like it. Not sure I'll like it as much with a different actor as Spartacus but in the meantime I hope the prequel (as much as I detest prequels) will suffice.

Just a thought but, so many users discuss anime they have watched that never aired in the uk or still hasn't but it's all good.

Or does it only include usa shows?

Anime tends to be a slightly special case as most Anime will never get shown on UK TV (about all that ever gets shown here is Naruto and the odd Ghibli film on 4).
However most of the anime discussion does tend to centre around stuff that is legitimately released on US (and UK) DVD, or is being streamcast by the licence holder (the old Anime Stalwart Sci-fi channel was the only real regular anime broadcaster here, and they stopped because they didn't get the ratings)..

It's basically the only way we could discuss anime ;)
I'm looking forward to the Dirty Pair set 2 to arrive, a series that is 20+ years old but never shown on TV or licensed on DVD/vhs here.

That's a slightly different case to most of the US TV discussion which can be about episodes that have only just aired in the US within hours.
