I have just started watching thi (late to the party i know)

Im about 4 episodes in at the moment and i will admit I had to force myself through the first 2. Its a slow starting series but its getting better.
Once I have finished this I will start on the prequel series.

The first series? If so yeah, it starts slow then ramps up to eternal epicness at the end.

The new guy seems ok, but he's no Andy. Maybe it's too early to tell being only 1 episode in. Andy had flare, real passion in his eyes, you could almost feel all his pain, suffering and anger when he was acting. None the less I'm sure the show will be a success.

A friend at work recommended this to me so ive got blood and sand and gods of the arena box set and shall be watching soon

Its not bad. Properly worth watching the prequel first
