US: Spartacus - War Of The Damned

They've definately done some work to make a more imposing villain in Crassus. Although Glaber did mold into the role as season 2 progressed he wasn't a match for Batiatus scheming and you knew he wasn't physically a match for Spartacus. But now...

Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
 
Production seemed cheaper at the start of the new episode to me, i don't know if i was just imagining things though as i forgot all about it as it progressed.

It's only a 10 episode season so i might hold off watching the rest until they're all out then start from the beginning again.
 
I enjoyed it understand about cheaper production but it's a different enviorement so think it's more in keeping with there surroundings
 
I really enjoyed the new episode, Crassus seems like a Roman that could finally be a equal to Spartacus in both skills and cunning. I'd love to know how much fake blood they go through per episode as there was lashings of the stuff being thrown around!

One slight minus point for me is the overuse of constant slow motion shots of Spartacus yelling during fights.
 
Enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. I thought they did a very good job with Crassus and making him appear different from those antagonists that have come before him. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season develops.
 
I found a slight liking for Crassus in that episode.... Even though he is a privileged Roman, he has decent principles e.g. when he berates his son about money and position meaning nothing and also when he does his last fight of the show and what he says/does to the opponent....

He seems different from the other Romans in that regard. I think that, although he may not like what Spartacus has done, he has some respect for the man.
 
Love the show! Been following it from the first season although I have to say that it took some getting used to at first.
I do miss Animais... Loved that guy.

I have to say that as much as I like a bit of boobage, it's like they're not confident in their own material given that they seem to be compelled to throw T & A or a sex scene at us every five minutes to keep us entertained. Fun, but not necessary imo.

Ah enough griping, I'm with Drizmod on the what would I do to be Gannicus front :D
 
Another brilliant episode. Ill be gutted when this finishes!!!

Totally amazing! Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus just totally epic, all having immense scenes, just totally wow!

Anyone else think Caesar looks like Achilles, de Troy?

Can't help but feel a warmth to these new Romans, Crassus, Caesar, even Tiberius.

I reckon Gannicus will get with the shackled slave girl...!

Kore is hot, but I find posh, elegant Laeta hotter, I hope Spartacus gives her one, or a few thousand! lol :p
