Seems a lot of the newer stuff doesn't beep anymore, i know mine doesn't also at post.
That's fine as I have a display on the Motherboard for any error codes so I don't mind, was just a little surprised

Fffnerrrr. I have tiny speaker. Mine beeps. I out beep you all.
Try a BIOS update? - http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4153#bios
Bro, this might sound stupid. But the pci e soundcard needs power, it won't work without power. Unlike pci ones that work just in the pci slot. Hope that makes sense.
I also would update the bios if it is outdated, but make sure to have a usb flash back bios.
There is none bro - I made a mistake in thinking it did, as it was a PCI-e like mine.
You DO have a front panel out though - attach that to the fractal one!
As for everything not posting...you tried putting it (if possible) in another PC?
Could be as u said the soundcard, but also the mobo...
Try putting another pci-e thing into that slot for example.
hehe i did wonder why there was no build log
do we get some pics of it all setup? or to busy playing games to talk to us? ><
o and have you downloaded stuff like coretemp and afterburner?
nah temps sound ok
best to monitor them in windows tho bcos thats when all the drivers kick in
once see its all stable then can do a little overclocking
you liking the case etc?
It seems to be a common theme with this board, but a BIOS update does seem to be fixing it for people.
I need to sort out my wiring
Looks Good !
Beautiful - great job - that COOLER IS HUGGGEEE!
And where is ur 2nd fractal fan?
geez u actually did cable management!
im disappointed in you
jk looks great, you went for the best parts in the end
only one little bit advice which u prolly dont need but ill give it anywaymake sure nothing pulling on them sata cables, whole heap of problems if they come a little bit loose
Btw isn't there this that annoys you:
Right angled sata on a ssd in the fractal hdd mounts.
It's impossible to fit one in.
Even on the motherboard, and where the case has its holes.
It's alright... Dodger knows all about "pulling"![]()
If you need fan recommendations:
The fractal makes one hell of a NOISE when put at the TOP of the case.
I got 2x Corsair AF120's - they run at around 900rpm on full load, max being 1100 rpm.
They are SUPER quiet and are very nice - only downside is that they are 120mm not 140mm
What direction are the fans blowing?
You ideally want them to be working with the rear exhaust fan on the case.
