It's a swallow, right? :p (definitely too big for a wren)

RSPB site says that they should be taken to a vet within 48hrs for the same reason after a cat attack. Will be taking to the one on my road during the day tomorrow providing all is well.

Cat teeth are like needles and excellent for "injecting" infections, sadly I think you need to be prepare for the little fellow not to make it :(

Does your browser not offer autoplay control settings? :p

Yea TikTok is set to block autoplay audio and video, but firefox isn't blocking it. Even on the main page it's hit or miss. Oddly I can't see a place to 'add' a webside only to remove it and OCUK doesn't prompt the autoplay controls in the address bar.

Edit: managed a way round it by blocking everything, then the controls appeared on OCUK, so changed it to something other than default, which made it be added to the website list so I could manually configure it.

Hmm weird it does autoplay for me but it's muted as per the above setting on Firefox :/

Starling would be a great bird buddy to have they sing some amazing songs and the videos I've watched on Dodo etc of people befriending them have great experiences to share!

Whoa there, Mr K!

You can't start a 'spec me a name' thread and then start randomly butting in with suggestions of your own! You've put it to the people; the people shall decide!

If we were to tolerate such shenanigans, then next thing we know is you're starting photoshop threads and interjecting with your own photoshopped submissions! Even though we all know you are probably the forum member least likely to require photoshop help.

Back on topic - my suggestion: Bill. (I haven't read the whole thread; knowing GD, this has most likely already been suggested)

:D

I am not a shop :D

Bill is a good name to be fair, although he is not a duck, so doesn't have a bill, but maybe this is the cunning genius of such a name??

Saved from the murder mittens of a neighbourhood cat that took swipes at it and injured its wing. Will await recovery before release, but it needs a name now!

This is a young Starling.

It will soon be getting it's beautiful iridescent plumage. May even have some already if you look closely.

They are quite easy to feed/care for as they'll eat most things. But best to give it close as possible to natural diet. Especially insects.
