Spec me a bird name

How about plum, since he seems to like plums :D

Just phoned the vet on my road to confirm it's ok to bring it in, they said they can take a look at it but can't offer any treatment, the best they would do in terms of treatment is put it down!!!! :mad:

So I'm gonna have them just inspect the wing and advise. If the wing is damaged beyond recovery then there's not much that can be done and I'll keep it as a home bird until the end. But if it's just damage that needs healing time then the dude will be free in no time.

Ah. Vets and their love of wildlife. Had similar things before with hedgehogs, so we nursed and once recovered released.
 
Being a young bird it's more likely to heal nicely so this is a promising thought at least.

There are usually wildlife foundations that will help, rather than vets who don't want to know. :(

Worth looking into.
