something drops into it?

its pulling warm air from inside the case and out the back, instead of pulling cold air from the slats along the bottom and expelling it out the back.

Ok getting fed up with this thing now it is turning on fans all light up then goes straight back off any ideas starting to wish i have never bought this thing.

heatsink connected correctly to the CPU_FAn header?

have you put the 8/4pin in next to the cpu socket?

try clearing the CMOS.

It was working all fine yesterday.

Done all this it just constantly spins up goes off and repeats.

Tried 1 stick and no stick of RAM.

Tried no GFX card.

Tried no HDD.

Tried MB on a piece of carboard.

All fans spin up but then it just turns off and gets in a vicious circle.

Could it be the PSU or MB?

400w may be pushing it with a GTX580

turn the pc of at the wall, either pull the battery out for 30 seconds, stick it back in and power back up, or there maybe a jumper to move around for a few seconds, or even a clear cmos button to press somewhere?

I will take the GTX580 out and try the PSU first then that will eliminate it.

Took battery out while i go find my PSU.

Changed the PSU cable with the spare and it seems to stay on so seems like a faulty cable.

It has now done the same as yesterday I reset the CMOS again and it worked once again so is it a faulty Motherboard?
