Wow...you got 17 SandyBridge systems...you are loadedHave an 17 sandybridge system and looking at a card for bf3
want to spend around 300/350 ish
looking at a MSI ATI Radeon HD 6970 Lightning 2048MB GDDR5
If you want a single gpu card the 580 is your best bet, if your happy to use multi gpu then you can get a pair of MSI ATI Radeon HD 6950 Twin FrozR II OC 2048MB for £380.
youll be able to p[lay with a 460 fine
x2 6950 over a 580 any day..if xfire is no problem.
Theres the first issue, if there are any xfire issues
Secondly I personally prefer single card solutions to dual, having recently swapped form Xfired 4890s to a 560
And Finally, 2 6950s are overbudget
Hi forgot to mention that my monitor is 2560 x 1440 have read somewhere that the higher vram is better for high res, thats what pointed me towards the ati?
Thanks Nige
I like your optimism.
Perhaps at low resolution and/or low quality.
not everyone needs ultra settings... even at low quality this game owns the console version...
Mirror what I said above.
Twin 6950's. 2GB Vram each, you will be more than happy.
