Oh god this **** is still going? You've been 'building' this for months, i have my pc ordered / delivered / built and usable, and have done for weeks, and ordered long after this thread...

If you wanted it to be green it would be far better to just turn it off a bit more, use it a little less and read a book.

Whats sad is despite you being a complete fool, you're clearly not going to listen to reason, you're going to build it and proclaim it's eco credentials to everyone. You're a special kind of crazy, the kind who puts "Good for the environment" on a bus, when its not, its far from it, it's just mildly less bad than the alternative.

It's almost sickening tbh.

You can keep regurgitating the same nonsense but the fundamental problem with your machine is that it isn't really, when you break it down, any greener than mine if I removed the overclock off the graphics card.

A fallacy going on here.

They are from people who live in UK. When I looked at the post it said UK not China. Again I am saving environment by sourcing local products. I am so good. IT is obvious.

And where are those products manufactured? Where do the elements used to make it up come from. Its no use buying from a British Company when they source the materials and products from abroad.

And like everyone else here is saying, you CANNOT build a green PC if you want it to be HIGH PERFORMANCE. Thats like asking for warm ice.

Very neat build you have going on there Rusty. I will also get same benq monitor. What I have achieved is pc that is using less power and has components from more ecological companies than many people on this forum and overall at that matter.

We both are simply greener than many. A fact which I am proud of. But I am more greener than you Rusty as about 40% of my components are 2nd hand.

I am a winner.

.

You're killing me dude.

Success, I've put this all together and its working. However since there is nothing spectacular except my system being environmentally friendly, I see no point in releasing pictures. Apologies for that.

I have a PCI express question. I think my one is working at 2.0 and not 3.0. This is because Trixx is showing it as 2.0. How to check if my PCIE is working at 3.0? thanks

My system specs:

z77ud3h; 3570k; 8gb 1600mhz ram; m4 ssd; amd 7850 2gb; win 7
