Hmm, either
(a) go to Harvard Business School and then see where life takes me.
or
(b) get a good job, get a reasonable house and put a large chunk aside for private school fees for kids. (private school is ~25-30K/year per child).

The things you need for a new life are for the most part free. You only need the courage to initiate it.

The courage to move towns (you could rent a flat / house in this new town)
The courage to get a new job
The courage to start conversations and to get out there!

Then the clothes, GF, car and material stuff will eventually follow
 
A house, a flamethrower, a pair of speedo's, a hooker, some friends,a burger, bag of potatoes, a kettle and a live salmon, some dignity
 
All of you suggesting hookers would you really get them? I probably would on a rare drunken occasion but I'd feel pretty guilty about it.

Are you actually in this position OP or is this just theoretical?
 
A tropical island, that is near to other heavily inhabitated tropical islands. One where you have enough forest and seafood o live on. A speed boat a 500 thousand gallon petrol tank, hot water solar panels, wind turbine or two. All the tools you need.

build and survive on your own + GF or whores. And use the speedboat to get supplies and the odd ****up.
Think a bit like the film beech without the killing.
 
I would pretty much buy a house, well get one built and have a massive party in it really. Reckon I could easily do that on 500k and it would be a nice house and the hookers would flock a plenty!!! :D
 
Around the world trip, staying in sweet hotels along the way, maybe with a girl or good friend, if the latter, strippers all along the way + write reviews for each country's hookers - 60k (?)
Then get a house for 300K or so out in the country, car - 40k, nice house insides.. too much, and get a nice little job as a postman driving around the country delivering mail to distant country houses in your fit car.
Thats what I want to do, might need a few more than 500k in the end, but its all good :)
