Spec me a Sub £500 32" LCD for upcomming 360 Setup.

I probably have but they don't look nice for a start so I wouldn't even consider them, an LCD should look good as well as perform good.
I have zero problems with the R74, not encountered any flaws or faults, it's very nice quality even on SD, let alone HD, it looks good via HDMI and looks amazing with a 360 via component or VGA.

The R74 has some of the worst sounding speakers ever.
If it were tinny it would be a step forward.
Good job i dont buy TV's for sound.
Also whoever mentioned the flicker, aye, its there on the two sets i've seen running its own freeview.
Doesn't do it on Sky, DVD or 360 though.
Still for £500, fantastic set, and i wish the Toshiba 32WLT66 could be had for £500 on the nose like this set, unless am not looking hard enough.

You must have been watching a faulty set or source since it doesn't have any.
And what features does it lack that your suggestion has?
1:1 mapping via HDMI and DTV mode via VGA port to enable the 360 to have component standard accurate colours rather than using the VGA PCs standard colour range.
The 68 is the newer model, however there isn't a whole lot of difference, it's more a case of better value for the 66 than having to pay extra to get a 68.
Thats why people are so happy about the WLT68, because the price is reduced on the WLT66. If you can afford the WLT68 then it's great, if not there are very few HDTV's for better value.

I imagine its the same panel but I know the 68 has an Onkyo speaker system so should sound better, different body as well. Gloss finish on the surround, looks quite classy in my opinion.
For less money the panasonic though surely, seen them back to back. nicer picture.

Well I've decided to get a 26" HD TV and narrowed my options down to three.
1) LG 26LC2R £368
2) Samsung LE26R74BDX £365
3) LG 26LC3R £345
Just by the presentation of the units I would prefer either 1 or 2 and not really keen on the look of 3 but that's not really essential.
I am going to be connecting the Xbox 360, Dreamcast and Gamecube so I need good SD but the unit needs to be stronger by Component as that is how I will be connecting the 360. Dreamcast will be VGA.
I could swap the 360 and dreamcast over everytime I want to use either but does this involve hastle, heavy breathing and possible sweating?
Any advice would be welcome please.
