Thanks, think the 4 slice sage is ideal as both sides are large to fit all types of bread, just a bit pricey.
I always have 4 pieces, if I ate 2 I'd just want more!We stuck with that for years. Until space was at a premium and realistically I can't actually remember the last time I cooked 4 bits of bread at the same time.
I’m with you, I wouldn’t spend a penny over £50 for a toasterany 4 slot toaster would do it i dont get why anyone would spend so much on one.
On the complete nutty and opposite end, i have contemplated getting that Mitsubishi Electric bread oven TO-ST1-T toaster. Does only 1 slice at a time but all the reviews I’ve seen says it’s some how justified?
Or similarity a Balmuda Toaster Oven with a steam function?
Over £200 for a toaster that does one slice at a time? Behave

issue is they are such a basic thing but the inability to toast uniformly across bread types seems so poor,
not sure that is just down to varying moisture content at bread edges, also, even their inability to clamp the bread so it is equidistant from both sides !
I can't see the thread now, but I thought someone had a 'which' membership - who won that ?
maybe it was in a home&garden washer/drier discussion
I like my Kmix, it's pretty even and quite quick.
i do like the ones in hotels though i bet they are expensive.
