Spec me a wallet

I've been tempted by one of those modern clip "rigid" wallets for a while. What are they like to carry in the back pocket? Can you sit on them the same as a soft wallet?

I still use the same wallet that I've had for years - a leather Gino Ferrari that I was given by a company I used to work for.

That looks like an overly expensive secrid  It's like twice the price and pretty much identical apart from secrid having an arguably better looking mechanism for popping up the cards, I mean it's nice looking but for the price compared to secrid it's expensive

The Cascade is expensive, but it comes with a money clip and a lid so the cards don't come out even if you shake it. The Secrid mechanism looks too bulky compared to the Cascade's.

Medieval coin scrotum is the only way to roll.

Genuinely genius! I was looking for a way to stop the rattling of coins in my centre console bit and remembering this recently gave me an idea as I have a pouch I can use, it's a headphone pouch not a coin ballsack before anyone chimes in :p

Works a treat!

I've had a Belroy wallet that's about 4 or 5 years old now. It's starting to look very worn now but I'll probably replace it with a similar one.
It's the Note Sleeve. It was a nice slate grey when I first got it. They're really good at being thin profiled though. That's with about 9 bank/credit/membership cards and 11 or so train/amusement park tickets

Already own a trove swift but just ordered a Secrid mini wallet. Fancied a change.

New wallet arrived today

Secrid mini wallet

Of course not as slim and low profile as the trove. Il try using it in my back pocket but this one could be a front pocketer

I bought a Sonnenleder “Saar” in a Peek & Cloppenburg department store in Bielefeld, NRW 15-20 years back for about €45.
It holds maybe 8 cards, I use 3, it has a clear section through which my handsome face on my driving licence looks back at you.
It has 2 divisions for notes, sterling in one, dollars or euros in the other, plus it’s deep enough that our giant notes don’t stick out at the top, it has a press stud closing compartment in which I stuff credit card receipts.
Naturally it has no designated compartment for coins, unless some melt wanted to use the CC receipt compartment for them, coins go in the right side pocket of whatever strides I happen to be wearing.

I’m a bit addicted to wallets, I’m always on the lookout for a new one.

Ive got two ridge wallets (carbon and titanium) a number of secrid wallets, belroy and also a few nodus collection wallets, honestly can never decide which one to use so just swap between them every other day its a right faff wish I could just decide on one and stick with it.

Had a bellroy and couldn't fit £20 notes in it. Got a Big Skinny. Best wallet I've ever had. It doesn't have a coin purse but you can keep a few in the note bit and they put pretty well.

Edit: has taskmaster self censored himself for a humourous reason or was he just being a bore?
