The cheap Cree q5 ones on Amazon are zoomable from what I understand, on the ones I have I can slide the end in and out and it focuses on a point or spreads out.
I remember getting this, was ok and the zoom idea is smart for focusing even if not initially perfectly bright or using plain AA. I'd rather buy from uk or prime here as the build quality varies, not great QC but its worth getting this cheap for not important tasks.
I did find another much better cree type that zoomed, still cheapy build but lost the link. Had to wait a month for Chinese shipping, I would advise just use amazon and you can return it if need be. After a year, I dropped it some the glass detached, needs glue and the zooming thing wont stay still but the light does work better then a normal (cheap) torch still
I was referring to the one on Amazon, but essentially the question is what is the difference in using an AA battery and a 26650? Power? Brightness? Time it lasts? etc
