Spec me an LED Torch

The tubes are all on keys hung up in the utility so no "rough" handling tales place and good for going to garage etc in the dark

The little olite is very resilient and ideal for going in your pocket etc

or is that not bright enough?

Cheers, I need something I can have in my pocket at all times but that's very bright. I often find myself looking in risers and air handling units and stuff which are generally very poorly lit or not lit at all. I'll have a butchers, thanks Shiwarrior.

Just to follow on from my last post about a Sofirn IF23, ended up buying one. £37 including battery. Absolute stunning little torch. Lots of flexability and the UI is great once you get used to it. No issue with auto lock. My gripe, its very easy to switch the torch off when your up in the loft trying to monkey your way through the rafters. Highly recommended.

Anything from UniLite

Use loads for work and they are class! Have a massive selection too

I've had a few over the years, absolute tanks in terms of build quality and ridiculously bright for their size. I love the magnetic back too as I'm often working in risers and stuff so it's great to be able to just stick it to something and work.

So to that end I just ordered another one and already burned my manager's retinas with it.

Oh yea that looks great! I’ve got an older version, around 3 years old and still works great and gets abused at work! Highly recommend

Pretty much no street lights where I live and so I'm looking for a good quality high power torch for walking. I've no idea where to start, I've purchased an led one before off ebay but it was pretty poor. What should I be looking for? I'm convinced I've seen a whole thread on torches previously, but a quick search didn't find it. Thanks

I use these torches all the time at work/home/walking etc
I have 5 or 6 of these torches , 2 for work, One kept on my motorbike, One kept in my car and a few i keep at home (i just been using one of them about 30 minutes ago for looking around in the loft)

You can get much better torches then this, But these are cheap & bright

There is a dedicated thread but you wont go far wrong with an Olight

I just can't use an Olight over an Ledlenser, the zoom and even spot focus just makes it so much nicer to use, I hate the brightspots on most of these other lights, impossible to use at work :(
