Spec me an LED Torch

On your bc40 have you noticed that the surrounding beam is slightly cooler than the centre spot's surround? I looked closely and it appears to be quite possibly the reflector edge or some of the yellow from the emitter surface reflecting to the edge.
 
Ah that's good to know then! The centre spot on the XML-L2 is not defined enough to be able to tell :p
 
There are loads of people selling silicone grease on ebay. I got a pot of Abbey silicone gun grease as I can use it on my airsoft guns as well. Came in a 20ml pot and will last a lifetime. Think it was about £4. There are cheaper ones, but I'm not sure if they are decent quality.

That's what i use on my Airsoft guns and torches too. :)

doesn't last that long when you use it in airsoft guns though :D
 
I did browse their RRT/M range before when I heard about the brand and they did look impressive!

Oh sorry i was actually thinking of that one, I just had the older one in my head. Extra 50 lumens as well :)

And you shouldnt be encouraging me to buy any more torches! I haven't even got the one I ordered yet! All this constant flaunting of torch porn, think of the innocent victims and their wallets! :p

yup, replacing my 4sevens Quake AA Ti as my edc - its served me well but felt it was time to move up to something else.

oh and the wife won't kill me, its her xmas pressie to me :-)
