What do you need from it?
Flood, Spot, Throw, or a combination and how much of each?
How bright do you need it and over how wide an area?
Do you need a pocket clip? Does it need to clip to the brim of a baseball cap?
Will 200 lumens be enough, or do you need 1,000 or do you need 30,000...?
What a great little light. But, in farming parlance, my wallet would be thoroughly TUPped if I bought that!Nitecore TUP
Why 18650? You mean a single cell, yeh?
Surely a dinky little 2.75" package that kicks out 1,000 lumens and even has a funky LED screen would be even more amazing?

Don't tempt me. I'm trying to reform my importy, tax-dodging ways!Got mine off AliExpress for around £25.
And I'm still very happy with my Nitecore TIP, which suits my pocket better. Mind you, I have lost the plastic cover from the buttons somehow which makes it... well, makes no difference whatsoever, actually. But torch envy doesn't respect rationality!

Firstly, can anyone recommend a decent supplier/brand for the batteries and charger? Probably after four.
Secondly, can anyone recommend a first torch based on this battery? I'm typically used to 1xAA torches from Fenix and unbranded eBay.
I get all of my batteries from Fogstar. They normally sell to vapers but they are a very well respected company and sell just about every type of large rechargeable batteries along with very good 4 port chargers.
