Spec me an LED Torch

Just had this delivered today, due to it's size it won't output at turbo very long but I'm enjoying more compact small lights than big hefty ones.

I'm after a little torch for my boy (nearly 3) doesn't need to be bright at all or maybe adjustable brightness? Need to be small enough to put in his coat pocket and colour changing would be good.

Any recommendations ?
 
Can anyone recommend any AA rechargeable batteries? For general use and preferably from Amazon, as I have a voucher.

There are various no name brands with good reviews, but there's always the question of whether the reviews are genuine!
 
enloop is the gold standard I think, then its just a case of what price you can spot them for. Those are best for torches, general use not sure it matters as much.

The temp would be a problem for small area I imagine. Maybe out in the snow its fine but otherwise I find the high power can mean needs gloves to hold comfortably
 
Eneloop are very very good (they are Panasonic)

i use the Pro for Torches / high powered items



Question ,

Is the XTAR VC2 still the go to charger for Samsung T40 18650 batts ?
