I'm flattered to even be noticed on here after only joining very recently.

I do have quite a bit of experience moderating a few forums over the years but those were based on specialist subjects and hobbies that I've got a lot of experience and knowledge about so I'd never put my name forward on here as a mod coz gaming computers and tech stuff isn't my "milieu".

General Section and La Cuisine Mod, maybe, but I'd need some perks and incentives to give up my time everyday dealing with naughty rascals and youngsters

Ha, all is fine with me actually. Maybe you're referring to my comments on the pointlessness of marriage and enjoying my own company at Alton Towers, but I'm still happily married (sorry ladies).

I would vote for mrk too, I feel like he needs the enrichment in his life and he's always been the type that could probably throw his whole self at such a mundane venture.

As long as the admins and mods are faster than the worn out current team for username changes everything will be fine.

I think the current team needs to hand over the thrown to all new candidates and fresh meat.

I was an admin here (and a mod before that) for many years - it really is quite fun and rewarding (especially at some of the charity events and meets that used to occur regularly), also why my post count is ridiculous.

I'm not nominating myself, I don't have the time or the inclination to do it again but if you care about the community and want to help create some value and make this place a fun and safe space for discussion and friendships then I recommend it. Though being a UB sucks, compared to the slacking admins that take all the glory...
