Spec me some speakers

Right I have around 70 pounds to spend but could go higher, not for gaming just music, my motherboard has 6 audio connections on the back if that helps, its an old asus a8n sli premium
I really like the 'bose' sound, whenever I hear some they give this distinctive sound of not being too loud hurting your ears but delivering a nice sound,
I was looking at some companion 5s in HMV but they are waaayy to expensive.
Is there anything with that sort of sound without paying as much?

well for PC speakers as it were yes, if you have more to spend on pro audio or hi fi equipment then no.

Yea I love my music but ive got some krk rp8 which are plugged into my decks so thats for that lol, just wanted some decent ish ones for bedroom for pc. on small budget

You don't have to be an audiofile, and you don't have to spend thousands. A second hand £200 stereo amp/stereo speakers will sound better than the Aego M.

But the aegos are good and easy to just order online, plug in, then get listening. It's obvious some people will never want to go mad trying to matchup components or go second hand, but there are plenty of us that do

The speakers you and all the other sheep mentality recommend, and I say that because I bet over 2/3 of the people who recommend them have never even owned them or heard them recommend them because there's a copy cat mentality that goes on around here.They are £116.25 delivered not £70 and for that price you could get some second hand mordaunt short or B&W and a decent amp.

They are good speakers but not worth £116 it's impossible for them to be any good because they are just sats and sub where's the midrange going to come from.
I know people like them but if I were spending £116 I'd find myself a high street second hand hi fi shop and get an amp and bookshelfs.
Otherwise get something like the Z4's which can be had for £45 delivered which are good for general use.
