Spec me something different

If you like the FF game I recommend The Last Reminent. Prob the closest thing you will get to a modern single player FF game on the pc made by same people as FF also.

Cool ill check this out

Downloading myself. I was going to wait for the sale, but when you mentioned it was only a fiver...well...win win. ;)

snap. It looks amazing., its everything i like in sci-fi, asian hong kong style deus ex cyberpunk. Hopefully it is good. fiver amazing price.

EYE Divine Cybermancy. It's still a shooter, but with heavy rpg mechanics up there with the likes of Deus Ex and System Shock 2. It has been consistently praised for having the best hacking system ever implemented in a game. The lighting, level design, surreal and expansive world looks wonderful imo.

Yup.
It's a tad confusing to start with but hang with it. Even the tech support guys are brilliant if you need them, personal emails back really quick.

Mass Effect.
Mass Effect 2.

They'll no doubt be in the Steam Xmas sales and should see you through to the release of Mass Effect 3.

completed both these games.

completed these

Mass effect 1,2
Deus ex, Deus Ex HR
Fallout 3

Kinda big world to get lost in.

Not tries:

Skyrim?
Fallout new vegas?

And Ill try this EYE game.

Eye's development was heavily influenced by Deus Ex, which can't be bad. :)

downloading now hyped for it. You guys played? any good?

u play? waht ya reckon?

It feels a bit dated and kinda underwhelming like a bit tacky especially the conversation menus etc...not played much of game so far though.

The language translation isn't perfect but good enough imo, but yeah, not one of the game's strengths.
Loving it so far, at least in nearly respects. I'm tweaking the enemy reinforcement levels, as respawning is one thing I can have a low tolerance for. Other than that, great. I played from around 9pm last night until 2am this morning. :D

I'd suggest taking your time, immerse yourself slowly by, for example, stopping to read information in the archives, if you've got that far. :)
