I would be happy to see a substained at exponential space travel.

Basically colonising mars.

First send robots to build greenhouses and a fuel reprocessing centre. Then send a core team of humans and engineers along with more automated factorys. To extend buildings. Before finely shipping in a colony.
 
i would like to see:

Auto-face

A face that automates facial expressions. { inc dynamic feature rendition }

Be happy when sad

Look interested when day dreaming.

gaze at something without being noticed.

Smile at someone you don't like.

Lie without flinching.

Scare away youths with authentic anger

Laugh at a bad joke, and watch the t.v simultaneously.

Keep a strait face when hurt.

Impress woman with a consistent smile.

attend a important meeting and be asleep the whole time.

No more shaving .

Petrol will run out, not fuly but it is all about how much it costs, it is slowly getting more expensive to get out of the ground, but while other technology is advancing more supplies are being found and drilling technology is getting beter so there is no certain answer but at some point it wont be worth the effort. I think we should use electric cars. use nuclear power to charge em up, we just need better batteries and faster electric cars. Eventually Fusion will replace Fissio and then we are sorted.

Biomass and lpg are nice but electric is the future.
