spec me

Well you can obviously set the board+gfx card to whatever colour you like.

RAM you cant but you had a red led kit in your spec plus theres corsair coming with RGB ram.

Alternative case,

both the same case but one with a glass side panel, these can have the illumination set to 10 different colours.

how does the motherboard, cpu cooler and gpu compare to the items I Selected

GPU has the fastest clock speeds it also has twice the warranty compared to the Palit.

Cooler is quiet and I have used one before, plus its nearly all black so matches anything.

The board is very comparable, has a good audio chip+amp, supports SLI+Crossfire etc, has all the new stuff such as USB3.1/typeC, fast m.2 and u.2 etc.

Errr, not as good as the bequiet (I have the Phanteks and have had the bequiet).

There is some PWM controller board on the phanteks, but it still doesnt help, you would be best connecting all the case fans to the motherboard and letting it control the fans via the Easytune application.

But the Phanteks is bigger and makes a nicer looking build because the PSU is covered and other bits are well hidden.

what if I changed the fans would that help

Then that cost money and thus you may as well then look at a higher priced case to begin with.

Or go the other way such as the £90 Fractal Define S which is very simple, quiet, big enough and doesnt have any external drive bays.

Oh and the Coolermaster mastercase 5 etc, again they are relatively quiet.

ok so I have done a bit of fiddling about and I've got £50 left in my budget with the new mobo, gpu and case, I don't need any external bays

Spend £50 on a mouse+mat.

Money well spent if trying to do long range headshots in titles such as BF4
