Spectacular failure!

I thought my MOT ran out at the end of Feb so I booked a week off work just in case anything came up.

Turns out it's up on the 24th so I'll need to be quick, get the welding done on Friday and dash to the MOT centre before they close.

Most of them go at the rear sills... especially those that have the side spats fitted.

The 220 went in the same place.

Bar the sills and a bit of rust on the rear arch, it's pretty sound. Got the usual stone chips and a few scratches and dents, but when clean, it looks great. I was just trying to bodge it through the MOT so that I could get some money together and have it sorted properly along with some other parts sprayed... Mr MOT man didn't see it that way though, doh.

Goes well and has been uber reliable, getting me to work and back for the past 4 months. And I don't go easy on it when I drive it. It's taken a hammering and just keeps on going.
 
pfft my mondeo only failed on ball joints that i knew were going (in fact i took it in to have them done and said throw it through the mot whilst you're at it :p)

It even passed it's emissions and it's decatted! :p

yea he speaks the truth, I had time left on my previous mot but because of a failed tyre it invalidated it, although got a new tyre two days later so it didnt really matter :p
