SPECTRE Bond24 discussion [Please use spoiler tags when discussing the plot]

Didn't read the thread so apologies if this has been said before but my opinion:

James bond has a son
The film will be a monologue
All will be twisted on its head, MI6 is baddy nwo enforcer with links to vatican, major international crime syndicatrs etc.
James bond shags 50 year old half tidy biddy because she is looking after son or somet like that.

Only my first impressions, but then I did once get invited to interview with these guys for a real job
so doubt I'll be far off.

LOL U WOT M8?

I thought he had made it pretty clear he was not going to do another one?

Best way to get paid more to do another. If he says he loves doing the job and doesn't want it to end then there is no incentive to pay him a massive salary. If he says he doesn't want to do it, but is very popular, then he will command a pay rise.

I'd still like to see Idris Elba do it, I think he'd be a good follow on to the more gritty bond.

Booked Imax showing for Saturday, only part I'm not looking forward to is having to sit through the 3 / 4 minutes intro with Sam Smith.

I feel your pain.

Just because he's popular at the mo doesn't mean he needs to linked to Bond

Paloma Faith would have been my choice

Fassbender should be the next Bond. He would be excellent.

Aye, he would be. His performance in Inglourious ******** is really good and something like that would work well in a Bond film.

Tom Hardy would but be ok but mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble.

Tickets purchased for tonight. Very much looking forward to this. Spent the weekend, not all of it, watching the previous Bond films!

Agreed - fassbender could do the hard hitting talk, smack head on table and not appear to really give a damn. He'd need some input in terms of how to carry himself for the dinner jacket parts though. Same with Idris. Which is part of the 'charm' of the Bond character as a total disrespect for pomp but believes in country and making his own way.

This guy as the villain: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1146611968/tt3203606?ref_=tt_ov_i - love the scene.. as a guttural monolog over a typewriter to a pit boss about to meet their end at the start of the movie.
