Spin Tyres demo: impressive off-road physics

Arma 3 needs this.

every game that has any offroad or just vehicles needs this :p

LOL at the tarmac roads though. was watching dasquirrelsnuts play this and the tarmac roads are like normal mud haha!

does look a lot of fun and with multiplayer would be awesome to help mates out of the mud..... or troll and push them in xD

bit brutal atm though as when you disconnect the log trailer all the logs vanish :( seen a few streamers get so far... then get stuck.... then think to disconnect the logs and maybe pull them up after with the winch.... only to see the logs go so all that time wasted :p

It's not just me then...

I've drowned 2 trucks and killed a third by taking a downhill bend too fast and hitting a house sized rock.

I've managed 2 delivers of the larger logs, so i need to put 2 points in each delivery point to complete the 1st map.

The trick i found is to uncover all of the map before attempting to deliver logs, doing this will allow you to spot the other truck laying around the map.

There should be to D class heavy trucks that you can use, which make things a lot easier and makes crossing the water a lot easier too. Although be careful not to do the same route too many times as you churn up the mid making harder for next time.

having fun in this game, cant wait till they allow each map to save individually. wish the winch worked from the controller, pain hitting a key for that and trying to steer etc with controller lol. they are working on that though.

The way it looses your save from one map if you decide to go to another map is very irritating! The camera can be annoying at times but hopefully this will be made better in the next few updates. I've read that the developers are looking in to a cockpit camera which would be nice. Its a very enjoyable game though and can only get better!

they are looking to the save game problem and said last night on a stream they are going to have a save for each map which would be great. they are also working on the camera, your right it can be a big pain sometimes and they want a cockpit cam as well which would be needed really for steering wheel use. be strange using a wheel in the 3rd person mode.

Managed to capture 10 minutes of footage, it was smooth in recording but choppy at parts in playback. My upload speeds as slow as heck so I hope the wait when i upload on Youtube is worth it..

Thats good to hear then, a cockpit cam is definitely needed for wheel use! :)
I think the game does have a lot of potential though to be made bigger and have more objectives rather than just lumber.

Someone asked that on the stream last night, you can't pull trees down at the moment. I think he said maybe, but they are definitely looking at the possibility of winch cables snapping in future patches

Anyone fancy a MP session in the week sometime? Would be much better to travel in convoy or something, save keep going back for another truck if you get stuck

Count me in. My gf is away this Sat night, so I am free to waste a couple hours plunging into dirty holes with other men! Wait, that didn't sound right. I meant pulling my friends' wood. Putting logs in your trailer? Ah I give up. Yeah I'm down for some mp this weekend. It's tough to find other players who will stick around long enough to complete a map.

Might be worth designating a map so that it's fresh for everyone. Otherwise it's like playing portal 2 coop with a guy who hasn't already done the puzzles before. I've done Hill, Coast, and River (River is awesome btw, and doing a train of trucks over the river is incredibly satisfying).

this available for under £20 anywhere? seems steep for what it is but I still fancy it

Have they updated the demo to the newest version? I quite liked the older builds but not sure it's worth £20 at the moment, would like to see how the physics are currently!

Website currently isn't working for me at all so not been able to check.

Hmm this is a very interesting game/sim, i like the way they are going with it, but that camera needs some work, its quite baffling at times, also would be nice if the 360 controls could be re-mapped but im sure it will come soon enough, grabbed it on steam - more objective-progression would be nice also.
