Spinpoint F1

My F1 750gb died a few weeks after purchase, still waitin for a replacement a week after RMA'ing it =/

Where did you send it? Rexo (samsungs uk hard drive returns arm) say they do not accept OEM drives, and since OCUK appear to be selling OEM drives they wont take it.
Did OCUK take it back?
 
I keep seeing all these threads about bad F1s. I have been running 3 F1s for approx 5 months and they have been running fine. I did have to rma one to Rexo that was showing a smart error but I had a replacement within 3 days.

I have a 640gb WD and a 640GB F1 and I use the F1 due to it running 6 degrees cooler in the same enviroment..
 
Oh and referring back to my original post, Samsungs ESTool has just given my 1Tb drive a clean bill of health after it lost all the partition information.

I'm highly suspicious it actually runs effective tests because each F1 that is corrupting it's data is being given the green light.
