Quite. They're just another factor in the decline of Scottish Football. They are massively to blame for the style of football in Scotland along with the terrible infrastructure. How are skillful attacking players supposed to thrive in a league where they are afforded no protection from offcials, and where attempts to beat a defender are looked upon with suspicion and often contempt?

Another insipid display with the players not looking like they want to go in for a decent challenge in case of injury before the Juventus game. Some very poor decisions from Brines but fair play to Motherwell, they deserved their three points.

It's lucky Dundee are awful this season or Hearts would be in lots of trouble. We can't seem to defend at set pieces. I was at the Inverness game at Tynecastle and they had 3 chances from set pieces (2 corners and 1 free kick) and scored all 3. We are so weak at the back without big Zal. Hopefully McGlynn being punted gives us the magical new manager effect.

A timely reminder to our players that they don't have the league won yet as Ross County beat Celtic 3-2. They thoroughly deserved it having come back from 2-0 down.

Aye - its still a competitive league and, as usual, we are at our weakest after a European encounter - I predicted a 2-2 draw but not surprised we got beat to be frank - RC are in a good run at the minute. Good for them.

It's not really a compressive league. Yes the others can produce freak results but what they lack is consistency. Take Motherwell, second in the league can close gap on Celtic with a win but draw. It's the same with all the others. Take Celtic out of the one horse race then I'd agree any of the rest could then win it.

What an absolute howler of a mistakable in the Edinburgh derby from the linesman. How he missed the "goal" by Griffiths is unthinkable.

At least a yard over the line.

From seeing the highlights on Sportscene, it could have been 5 - 2.

The technology should have been in years ago. Look at NFL, Baseball, Golf, Tennis and such. All had it a long time before Football. All because the dinosaurs wont get with the times. Yet it still wont be here until the World Cup in 2014...

Laughable that it's still over another year away. 2013/14 and no replay technology being used.

wow this thread still going was going to bed on RC after I heard odds of 8-1 thought that was good money for a team on form and Celtic don't travel up there well.

Shocking decision in the derby game as well.

Still the league's been over for months now British football isn't half in the doldrums with even the EPL title race a complete bore. Still I see English supporters happy to pay over the odds to see their team despite having no chance of any trophies.

I assume you where as concerned with the well being of Scottish football in the 90's when nobody really challenged Rangers?

Someone said it the SPL is competative now when it really isn't, I made no mention of our 9 in a row run but thanks form making the comparison of 1 team and a league of 11 diddies

The SPL IS competitive right now - maybe not for first spot but that's not the be all and end all - from what I can see, this league has never been so competitive
