Splitting Up with Misses

I think we can look forward to a new AthlonTom scandal once a year - last year it was massive hickeys (was this the girl who gave you them or the one you were hiding them from, btw?), this year a very messy breakup (good luck tonight mate), bring on next year!

So she reported your phone stolen to try and get the police after you? Is she stupid?

Mobile provider rang me and told me my handset has been reported lost or stolen, I have to ring them back later with some details (My ex had all my contract paperwork) to prove I'm me.

Get the records back yet?

Your provider phoned your mobile to report your mobile had been stolen?!

Am I being thick?

So if you're still in a hotel...in this country..what stopped you driving to see her and doing the right thing in the first place?
Would you drive several hundred miles to break up with someone? I know I wouldn't.

Don't reply to anything now, let her stew.

KaHn

haha a bit of wee came out as I read that, you are so evil!

On a serious note, I feel bad for you both :( Breaking up is never nice, even if you're the one doing it.

Because he tried to take the easy way out and ignore the large amount of posts here saying he ought to do it face-to-face. Now he's reaping the rewards of stupidly telling her he needed to talk to her in a text. Good one...

TBH, the OP's ex struck me as a spoilt sod anyway - so what she's done so far, is only the tip of the iceberg, IMO.

Well in all honesty we are only getting half a story here, she could be completely bonkers and the way she is being portrayed here is certainly that, but we can't possibly be objective enough to speculate past the posts he has made here.

At the end of the day she's quite rightly upset about how the whole situation has gone and regardless of how right it is, when something like this happens and you feel you've got the harsh end, you're likely to lash out which is exactly what she's doing.

Regardless of the circumstances, nobody deserves to be dumped by anything other than face-to-face unless you actually fear for your life being in the presence of the person you're dumping.

Is it at all possible that she has contacted the police reporting the phone stolen because she doesn't believe that Tom was sending her those messages yesterday?

Well yeah - I suppose I could have left London about 6:30 last night, driven for 3-4 hours, split up with her - and not console her in anyway, then just drive straight back!

Customer would be well chuffed with a paid resource that just sits there and falls asleep all day.
