***SPOILERS AHOY!!!*** Football 1st-5th Jan

A few weeks ago, I asked why Liverpool fans aren't incensed that Liverpool appear to be involved in a relegation battle. At the time those fans merely stated that they weren't in any danger of being involved in a relegation battle and that although Hodgson was struggling, he would probably turn the corner. This was when Liverpool were in the bottom 4 (or 3...I can't remember). I was amazed at how calm these Liverpool fans were...I would've expected some sort of riot.

10 games on, it would appear that nothing has changed and that Hodgson is determined to drag Liverpool kicking and screaming into the bottom 3.

My question (same as last time): why are Liverpool fans not causing a HUGE fuss about what is going on? How the hell is Hodgson

I'm a Man Utd fan (not a dedicated supporter as such) and if Fergie was dragging Man Utd through a relegation battle, even I would question whether or not he should stay or go. If we had a new manager come in and he did this to Man Utd, he would've been kicked out by now.

You've been talking to the wrong people. A big majority wanted him out after the first month of the season and our supporters are now staying away from matches in protest.

At least 95% of real pool fans have passed the anger stage and are now in depression. All the remaining Roy supporters are flushed out by the media because they couldnt bear to see Roy sacked.

I think we all could do a better job than roy tbh. Torres made best effort tonight, Cole has been Wastefull, Konchesky no need to say what we think of him again.

Wont be surprised if in Summer Torres says sod this and sods off back to spain :(

Oh well, games crap so im off to make food..
My (pre) HT analysis.

First goal - Konchesky's fault, he cant defend .. doesnt track runners, completely useless. -edit- Infact he played them onside by being a good 12 yards behind the defensive line .. walking around.

Second goal - good goal, but would never of happened if our players were allowed to actually close down away from home. Sitting off, against physical teams especially, is a bad idea.

I agree with quite a lot that has been said but the players should be getting flamed for some of the performances they've been putting in. Hodgson has not done well but the players need to take the blame aswell. They were under performing under Rafa and Roy had very limited funds in the summer. The team needs a complete make over. Average players playing for our illustrious club is just not on.

Like half of us on this forum told you last time we do want him gone and are angry, We have protested etc. When the owners did the call in half people who did call threw stats to the owners about roy and vented their anger but thats all we can do until he is gone nothing will change.

Saha was seriously lucky then. Terrible mistake! But Crouch was in such a stupid position, should know better and got Spurs a 2nd then!

 most pool fans on here have been calling for him to be sacked for weeks and most were not happy he was appointed in the first place

Can't speak for everyone, but I can answer for me.

Just drained basically. It's been a hell of 18 months or so with one thing or another with the club and I am just utterly drained. I simply can't build up enough oomph to even be angry anymore. Just had all the fight drained out of me. I don't even think anything will change now, I still think Hodgson will be the manager tomorrow, and next week and next month and so on. Never wanted him as manager, never saw anything from him to make me think I was wrong and now I have just ceased to have any fire about it.
