Spurs and Citeh really are putting it up the Sky4 now![]()
haha how crazy the table is at the top.
Man City
Man U
Arsenal
Spurs
The 2 biggest rivalries !! All at the top
You say that, because Tottenham haven't really competed against Arsenal for a while, I think the rivalry is lessening. I certainly dislike the Manchesters and Chelsea more.
Worst Newcastle team I've ever seen. Typical bunch of physical, newly promoted bruisers. Tiote, Smith and Barton aren't fit to lace Modric's boots.
Just a pity we didn't go for the kill and humilate them 5-0 like they deserved.
Today feels like a Sat because of the footy.
Same. But in recent years that's really changed. I still count Chelsea as bigger rivals but Spurs' ascendancy is changing that.
Looking forward to the game at White Hart Lane later on this season. Modric, Bale and VdV vs. Cesc, Nasri and RvP. Should be a belter.
Edit - love the way that Spurs and City fans call it the 'Sky top four'. Last season and another where Everton are by records alone blips on a rather static top four over the last few years. It's called a 'top four' because it's a top and you get into the Champs League by finishing there. It sounds somewhat bitter really, but don't worry both clubs are spending a heck of a lot of money in changing it.![]()
That's why I hate spurs fans, average team for years get a decent season and act like they are the monkeys nuts.
We didn't play well today and Pardews tactics are poor (big surprise it is Pardew) but at the end of the day we haven't got a great squad and missing a few players we need to play within our means.
Ultimately ref was to blame, completely lost control of things.
Would have prefers Ranger to start with Carroll because you lot are shocking at the back. Even missing Nolan would have went 442 withBarton in the middle. Smith is garbage but Routledge seems to be doing ok at the mo.
All said though didn't expect anything from today so not shocked or disapointed.
