***SPOILERS AHOY!!***Football 26th-29th Dec 2010

The usual fergie brain fart away game nonsense, Brum effectively play 9 defenders and kick and rush off of the big man up front, so Ferguson plays one striker, and no wingers.

Brilliant.

Oh I understand that it will be a bit of a battle in the midfield, but what about just the 3 in midfield with 2 wide men playing a bit deeper and one striker, because as it stands, there is nobody on the pitch capable of carrying the ball at pace down the wing and slinging the ball in or driving at the brum defence.

I hate it when moyes goes through these phases trying to grind out results playing 1 up top and as is the case these days a midfielder.

I can understand packing the midfield against a top 4 club but the rest of the time we should be playing 2 upfront and having Cahill behind the front two and atleast having a go.

It seems to be Moyes fall back plan when the season doesn't start well. I hate it.

Yep it's quite sad isn't it. Should have threw Fellaini up on his own and worked Cahill off him if he wanted to play 4-5-1. That's where he play best! He isn't creative enough to get the ball at his feet, turn a defender, and pop the ball into the top corner, he's superb at attacking the defenders off the ball and that's what he should have been doing. Fellaini with his head and his chest control, which is out of this world, would have been perfect if we were knocking the ball up to him. Tomkins and Upson wouldn't have been able to handle him.

I'm in disbelief that he played 5 in midfield, it's crazy.

Dead ringer for Nasri alright.

What a dull game, Birminger practically link arms when on the defensive and United are being very predictable.

Gibson almost ****ed up the return but excellent finish from Berba. Did really well to hit the woodwork immediately afterwards too.

Did Rafael just run the entire length of the pitch twice? Once to get a cross in then again to run back and win the ball. He has got to be one our most improved players this season :)
