Thought the last-minute equaliser from Bowyer was pretty harsh given the performance United put in (bar finishing) deserved a win. Nevermind the fact it probably shouldn't have stood.
That said, on reflection, a draw is hardly the worst result in the world and they still boast an unbeaten league season so far.
I think every man and his dog has known since about 2007 or earlier that what United need is a top quality creative attacking midfielder. Carrick just will never win me over as despite having a bit of quality in his back-pocket, his lack of flair means we see it once every two years or something. Alan Smith did what Carrick does in midfield and he cost less than half the money.
Scholes is still great in my book but his legs are gone and will be lucky to continue playing next season. Same with Giggs, although I imagine he's fine in terms of fitness.
Anderson is really coming on now and I can see him becoming a real key player over the next few months if he can just keep up the consistency.
Gibson, like someone said, needs more of a consistent run of games. A loan might do that for him. Right now, he looks good in spurts and certain parts of his game are fine but overall he lacks the quality for the future.
Darren Fletcher is just Darren Fletcher. Ball-winning midfielder who comes up with the odd goal or assist now and again. Great performer. Nowt wrong with him. Creatively you're not really expecting him to contribute.
And Hargreaves is writing his will I think..

Fingers crossed for a thrashing of Derby by Forest at the City Ground tonight. Bit of a let down its not on any telly channels. Not been a nil-nil in this fixture (in Nottm) for 104 years or something!

Doubt that's going to happen. Stranger things have happened, mind.
Odd starting 11 for us tonight: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Soto, Konchesky, Meireles, Lucas, Gerrard, Kuyt, Ngog, Torres.
Not really sure how we'll line-up; I'd imagine Kuyt and Meireles will play out wide but no idea who will be on which wing. The only other thing I can think of is Ngog playing from the left with Gerrard off Torres.
