I dont see what putting sides out like this acheives, it gives the kids no confidence and if things go on like they are, it knocks the club out of a very real chance of silver ware this year.
Especially considering we have Liverpool in the FA cup, we dont have any real form or lead in the league and are nowhere near strong enough to challenge for the CL.

Its just a waste.

I would rather they get to the QF of the CC and pick up some decent experience than we send a few first teamers out who get crocked :/

I think you deserve to be ahead, but up until the first goal bar a couple of brief sparks of potential the performance from both teams has been pretty sub-par. Wigan showing absolutely no desire to attack even when they're floating near the box (the whole what, 3 times they managed it?), obviously looking to defend and get lucky with a corner (which they did get pretty darn close with).

Need to knock it up a notch I think!
 
Never been on RedCafe thank you, sorry I forgot that as soon as you dare to say anything negative about a performance on here you get labelled a 'DM' Lets hope the second half is as brilliant as the first :)

Replace Obertan with Bebe then, or the almighty Tosic which you paginated to play week in week out last season
 
Carling Cup should be used for blooding youngsters, the EPL is far too close and challanging to give any youngsters real chances (and even group stage of CL)

At least Macheda is on now for Bebe

3-1 against City in the Carling Cup Semi at OT
2-3 against Milan in the San Siro
4-0 against Milan at OT
1-3 against Arsenal at the Emirates

To name a few games from last season where playing 1 up front has worked. I bet if it was absolutely necessary I could find a million other examples of where 4-5-1/4-3-3 has worked but I'm not wasting my time[/QUOTE]


But those were all with Rooney weren't they? So why are we still trying it with players who quite clearly aren't capable of it?

Some of the 'supporters' here would last 2 seconds over there :cool:

When did I say we shouldn't have signed Bebe? The fact is I haven't got a clue whether we should have signed him, no-one will really know for at least a few seasons.

Yes I thought Tosic should have got more of a chance, especially considering how few left wingers we have at the club.

It's both ends of the spectrum over there, mostly full of muppets :p

You do get some decent posts though from certain posters - just there are some absolute nutters.

Manchester United is made up of the First Team squad (of which everyone playing tonight is part of) the Reserve Squad (of which the likes of Eikrem are part of) and the academy (which the likes of Reece Brown are part of, unless he's been promoted since I last looked)

But I understand you can never admit you are wrong :)
