***SPOILERS*** Football 11th-13th Dec '10

Lennon is such a stupid player, that's the 3rd time he's literally just ran himself into a cul-de-sac and shown too much much of the ball to the opposition as a result.
 
If he sticks to his rather simplistic winger-role he's fine. But his decision making apart from "run with ball, cross, rinse & repeat" is rubbish.
 
I'm liking the way Spurs are playing to feet, Gomes is throwing out from the back and balls are being played into Pav and Defoe as opposed to being sent long to Crouch.

Therefore he's predictable in certain matches against a better fullback.

Then he'll try something else - doesn't have a good grasp anything else and gives the ball the away.

He'll have his good days against slower defenders but against great players, I don't think he'd do it regularly.

I'm not just trying to bash him for the hell of it. I just prefer not to give a huge amount of praise to players who don't deserve it.

He's certainly effective today against a side struggling for confidence.
