Maybe not as good but he will fill the void at UTD. He is 2 years younger, getting better and better every game. He will be a huge star in a few years time. Don't see him staying at UTD for ever. Can see RM snapping him up for 40+ million.

Tbf to him he didn't quite say what I asked, he said people think he's going to reach Ronaldo's level. I don't know of anybody (who knows what they're talking about) that has ever said that though.
edit: I should add, Nani's probably the only person that thinks that.

I think Bendtner probably thinks he'll reach Ronaldo's level too. And in his head I'm sure he will.
Did Nani say which year for the Ronaldo level? e.g. a 2004 version might be easier to match up to than the 2008 version?

Well, this looks like it's going to be a cracker.
See what I put in brackets. I don't know of any sensible person that has confidently said he's going to be nearly as good as Ronaldo.
The sort of comparisons that have been made are no better than 'the next Maradona' comparisons we get whenever a half decent Argentinian comes around.
A lot of them go on to be very good players but not close to being on Maradona's level. It's the same with Nani, he's a decent player but it's a massive ask for him to reach Ronaldo's level.
