**SPOILERS** Football 26th Feb - 2nd Mar 2011

4-0 was very flattering as I thought Wigan played well. Lots of pressing all over the pitch and Rodallega/Moses gave Smalling and Vidic a bit to think about. Chicharito seems to take 90% of his chances though and that made the difference.
 
Very impressed with Berba laying it on a plate for Rooney (esp as he was only on as a sub and probably wants really badly to get his 20th EPL goal)


I do feel for Wigan who had a good few chances to score (esp in the 1st half) which could easily have turned that match/result on its head

Cheets, can you tell me why, after doing so well actually passing the ball through Man Utd in the first half, your lot decided the best tactics in the second was to lump it up front to Rodallega, who was largely rubbish?
 
I love beating Wigan, I've heard there's a rule change next season for this fixture, Wigan will now be given a 2 goal head start and 4 at Old Trafford.
 
Watching the elbow incident (I wasn't watching the match at that point)

The Wigan player clearly moves in front of him to try and stop his run leaving Rooney to swerve past him. It's an arm rather than an elbow and doesn't look vicious at all.

I thought the one by the Marseille striker on Vidic midweek was far worse.
 
How Rooney got away with that god knows, red card all day long no reason for him to have his elbow there at all apart from smacking someone!
